Tiny ecosystem of autonomous critters: procedurally generated little workers who scurry around gathering resources.

2nd game jam so excuse the jank :) Please leave a rarting on the jam page!

Every run spawns new combinations of colors, legs, and stats.

skipped the wildcards to stay focused on the core critter loop :)

Critters will autonomously collect resources until they hit their carry limit. They return to the chest to drop them off

The circle on the top right is your day counter.

On day end you can breed 2 pairs of pets or sell them,. You can also purchase a new random bug for a fee :)

Collectibles in the breeding screen are clickable, click them, then a critter to give them the following stats:

A - speed +5

B - carry +5

C - luck +5

D - All +2



try to get pets with better stats and watch them run :)

the pets dont seem to update.

i have removed all starter pets and gotten 8 new pets, but i still only see the 6 starter pets moving around with starter stats.

nice idea. breeding is fun in games.

Sadly it seems the last build I uploaded broke the moddule that loads critters from the breeding screen back into the game 😭😭😭😭 They are still saved in your browser tho, if you reload the page, they should spawn right in... just not between days 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 I'll update once the jam ends and it lets me upload builds again :)

Jam is finished so I updated the game to fix the bugs now :)
